How to Read Odds — Three Formats
Three odds formats appear on betting platforms in Bangladesh. Each presents the same information differently — none of them are difficult.
The simplest format. Multiply your stake by the odds to get the total return. The higher the number, the higher the payout.
৳1,000 stake → total return ৳2,500 (profit ৳1,500 + original stake ৳1,000)
If the bet loses, ৳1,000 is gone.
Written in British style as a fraction — the first number is the profit, the second is the stake.
৳1,000 stake gives a profit of ৳1,500 — total ৳2,500.
Team B wins at odds of 1/2 — ৳1,000 stake gives a profit of ৳500, total ৳1,500.
+ means profit on a ৳100 stake; − means how much you need to stake to win ৳100.
৳1,000 stake gives a profit of ৳1,500, total ৳2,500.
Team B — −200 (stake ৳200 to win ৳100); ৳1,000 stake gives a total of ৳1,500.
